A science teacher that teachers maths! A friendly, fun focused tutor that has lots of experience tutoring across the age ranges in Maths and Science (see additional information). I love to teach and seeing the `light bulb` moments with students is the most rewarding part of the job. Flexible and accommodating, I will always put your child`s needs at the forefront and am happy to give verbal and written feedback to parents. I can also provide activities, links or guidance on how to support learning at home.

Availability: I`m available from 5pm week nights, and can also accommodate sessions at most times throughout the weekend. I prefer to deliver 30 minute sessions as learning is more sustained, and younger students tend to be able to concentrate better. Happy to discuss whatever your requirements may be.

Experience: I have been teaching for tens years, predominantly in maintained secondary schools. Since moving to Dorset, I have spent the last four years working in Alternative Provision - I specialise in teaching the new GCSE Maths specification to students across the full 1-9 grade range; I also have started to deliver the functional skills specification which can suit those students more suited to practical Maths application. I have been privately tutoring for 6 years now in primary, KS3 and KS4 Maths as well as Chemistry (specialist subject), Biology and Physics. DBS checked. Online tutoring is my preference.
