I am a highly experienced teacher of English and English Literature across all key stages. I am also a senior examiner for a major examination board.
Availability: I am available all week nights. I am also available through the day Monday to Wednesday as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings.
In the current climate I am using distanced learning via Zoom.

Margaret did an amazing job tutoring my son in his English GCSEs. He was predicted low grade 5s but Margaret completely turned this around. With a year of great tutoring he achieved a grade 7 and a high grade 6 (just two marks off a seven). Margaret is very professional and a lovely person. She was a ls thrilled with my son’s results as much as both he and I were.

Margaret is a fantastic tutor. She tutored my daughter in year 11 before her English GCSEs. The lessons were always well prepared and my daughter, who is dyslexic, found the lessons a great help and went on to achieve level 9 in her GCSEs. I recommend Margaret to anyone looking for an English GCSE tutor.

Fantastic tutor. Very organised. My son was struggling with his literature but thanks to Margaret he now enjoys his lessons! She able to explain the text as suited to the student.
