Hello, I am a joint honours Economics and Mathematics student at Lancaster University. Throughout my education I’ve had great enthusiasm for mathematical concepts and since arriving at university have focused on its applications in economics.

With regards to mathematics, I have tutored children from primary level, worked with students at all levels in secondary school (through tutoring schemes for underachieving students), and since arriving at university I have worked with non-mathematical students to help build their knowledge. This is very similar to the new A-Level syllabus.

Outside of mathematics, I am a qualified tennis coach and have experience coaching water polo. Furthermore, I am a round-the-world sailor and offer a welcoming and structured approach to every student I work with.

During the COVID period, I have a digital tutoring station set up, whereby I find it most effective to speak live with a student whilst writing notes on a digital pad. Of course, I would be happy to adapt to your requests.

I look forward to working with you and sharing my multiple years of knowledge in mathematics and further mathematics.

Experience: I started as a reading mentor for students in lower school. I was soon promoted to a mentor working with students underachieving in their maths lessons. I also took a role as classroom assistant with a yr7 tutor group.

I have worked with students in primary school, up to helping colleagues at university. I enjoy all aspects of mathematics and happy to introduce students to new methods to approach mathematics.

I am a qualified tennis coach and have experience as a water polo coach.
