I have just concluded my undergraduate degree in English Literature at UCL. Prior to this I was educated at Highgate School in North London. I have a deep love of learning, which I always wish to inspire in those I tutor. Alongside this, I aim to help students build their confidence in their academic work so that they can achieve the best they possibly can.

Outside of tutoring and my degree, I am a voracious reader and have a deep interest in politics and current affairs. I enjoy all of the cultural opportunities that London has to offer and I love art, ballet and theatre. I am keen to share these interests with those I tutor, especially in order to complement the curriculum in a way that provides a broad and exciting education. I am also a keen cook and skier!

Experience: Over the past four years I have tutored children in English, Maths and Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning in preparation for the 5+, 7+ and Common Entrance exams, successfully aiding them in winning places to highly selective London schools such as North London Collegiate, City of London School for Girls, Highgate School and South Hampstead School. These students have included children who were not fluent in English, necessitating an additional level of care and attention in teaching. Additionally, I have provided Latin tuition in years 7 and 8. I have volunteered at the charity IntoUniversity for the past two years, where I have worked as a mentor for teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them with their academic and personal development.
