My objective with any student is to improve both their grades and academic confidence. I offer a friendly but disciplined approach to make the content accessible while ensuring the necessary skills are gained through practise so that they are comfortable with independently tackling unfamiliar problems.

I have 10 years of experience as a tutor and am able to suit different learning styles and abilities.

My qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Lincoln; A-levels in Maths, Physics and Further Maths; AS-levels in Chemistry and English Literature; and GCSE qualifications of 9 A stars and 3 As.

Experience: Since beginning tutoring in 2012, my experience as an independent tutor has ranged from primary education to mathematics for degree level subjects. I am very familiar with the curriculum for GCSE and A-level maths, and have assisted many students in improving their grades in these exams. I also have a great deal of experience teaching adult learners who are returning to education.

In addition to this, I have recently gained experience working in a school as an Academic Coach, assisting KS3 & KS4 students in progressing their mathematical ability ahead of exams.
