Qualified teacher (QTS) with a first-class degree from Oxford University, specialising in online Latin tuition for Common Entrance (13+) and GCSE. I am known for my patience, enthusiasm and getting results. I I also hold a current DBS check.

I believe patience and enjoyment are key to learning a language. I combine an enthusiastic attitude with considerable patience. I like to tailor my approach to each student`s ability level and their learning style (whether visual, auditory or `kinaesthetic` or a mix of all three). I am experienced in training students for examinations and teach exam technique as well as content.

Availability: Weekdays - Daytime and evening (to 8pm)

Experience: I have been working as a private tutor for over three years. I have successfully tutored numerous students for GCSE and Common Entrance in that time. I have also worked with students experiencing significant confidence issues and been able to have an impact on their wider schoolwork with my interventions. I have also taught French and Spanish in secondary school up to International Baccalaureate (IB - A level equivalent). I achieved the best results in the department for both GCSE and IB in my first year of teaching.
