My name is Bessie, and I am a recent English Literature graduate of Oxford University. I am capable of tutoring in English, Latin and History up to A Level, looking at essay structure in particular. I am also happy to help younger students gain more rudimentary academic skills. I could also assist with students applying to Oxbridge, since the application process can be alienating or confusing to people unfamiliar with it.
I would aim to create fun, interesting lessons that were tailored to a student`s individual strengths and weaknesses. By going over schoolwork in a friendly atmosphere, I would hopefully also build the student`s confidence around essays and exams.

Availability: All days of the week, 9:30 am to 10 pm.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I read and assessed essays for other students at university, to improve their essay writing skills.
In sixth form, I tutored a year 9 in Latin, a year 11 in GCSE French, and a year 10 in basic English skills (grammar, syntax and spelling).
I previously regularly babysat a 3 year old and a 5 year old, and prepared lessons in spelling and maths for them.
