My tutoring approach:
-Organised and methodological approach to learning
-Concentrating on the use of key scientific terms to explain a phenomena.
-Using abstract situations to memorise new concepts and understand novel topics.
-Understanding exam style questions, understanding specification and beyond.
-Understanding explanations, descri ption and suggestion techniques in "How science works" questions.
-Boosting pupils` confidence and participation.

I hold a B.Sc Honours degree in Biochemistry from University of Edinburgh and a Masters in Arts degree in Human Genetic Diseases from Oxford University and a PGCE degree from King’s College London.

Prior to embarking in teaching I used to conduct scientific research in some of the world`s top universities including Oxford University, King`s College - London and University California Los Angeles (UCLA).

Availability: Day time Thursdays and Fridays and weekends
Evenings Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: Over 15 years of teaching in a top London selective grammar secondary school and over 7 years of privately tutoring one to one, as well as online tutoring.
I make clear and comprehensive notes for my students which they can keep to make and supplement their own notes.
