Sophie

I`m a qualified teacher, passionate about supporting children with their learning in a pressure-free environment. I have five years of Primary teaching experience which includes training and teaching in three Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Schools, experience of teaching abroad and leading the subject of Phonics. With the majority of my experience involving teaching Key Stage 1 children, I pride myself in the teaching of early Reading, Writing and Maths. I have taught Year 2 children for three years and I specialise in SATs preparation.

Availability: I am available after 4:£0pm in the afternoons and evenings as well as at weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught for 5 years, 3 of which have been in Sheffield. Over the last 4 years I have taught in Key Stage 1, in both Years 1 and 2. I have lots of experience preparing children for the Phonics Screening and for Key Stage 1 SATs. I am now working in Further Education but loving teaching in a one to one environment where I can help children thrive without the pressures of the school day.
