Information about Danielle
I am a qualified English and 11 Plus tutor with a first-class degree from Oxford University, and oven ten years experience in tutoring GCSE, A Level, 11 Plus, IELTS exam prep, Oxbridge entry, Shakespeare studies and creative writing.
Availability: In Winter 2025-26 I am primarily available on Mondays and Thursdays, but please don`t hesitate to get in touch to see if we can allign our schedules.

Experience: Ten plus years of extensive experience and a proven record of success, with specialisms in 11 Plus, English literature, and English as a foreign language. I work with primary age students to support and build their confidence and exam technique in 11 Plus and other school entrance exams, along with reading, writing and creative development. I teach English language up to GCSE, and am also TEFL qualified, having taught English as a Foreign Language at Oxford House College, Istanbul, along with multiple online clients with Lucem Education Agency in China and UK Study Centre, London.
I am particularly passionate about English Literature, which I teach at GCSE, A Level and university level. I am also an award-winning playwright, and lead creative writing and drama workshops.

Danielle was a lovely tutor, she was professional as well as being very friendly and approachable! Her methods whilst tutoring were straightforward and easy to grasp, she really helped me with my confidence in English and knowing the right methods to revise and for in exams, which teachers don`t make clear at school. Being able to chat about the books in classes one on one, was brilliant for widening my understanding of all the books for A level on a deeper level. The best part of her lessons was working through exam questions every week, something which is unmotivating when you haven`t understood the content in classes at school. Danielle makes this very clear. Overall I believe she was a great tutor and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
