I love my subject! I would like to help you love it too.

I am a 39 year old ex-teacher of science with a specialism in Biology. I returned to the UK at the start of 2019 after living in Sweden, where my partner and I had been teaching for the previous 2 and a half years. I am passionate about my subject and want everyone to enjoy it as much as I do. If you have a specific topic you find challenging, or the subject overall a little too much, then please ask - We will make it work for you.

Availability: Later afternoons, evenings and some weekends. I can be flexible to accommodate the needs of the student and will re-arrange when sessions need changing.

Experience: I am an ex-Science teacher with a specialism in Biology. I taught in Staffordshire, in the West Midlands before moving to teach in Sweden for 2 and a half years. I returned to the UK in early 2019 to North Yorkshire where I chose to do supply work until COVID struck and I made a career change. I am now back to being a student myself, as a trainee electrician. I love learning new things so hope that gives us something in common

I have also been an examiner for marking GCSE Biology (AQA) papers as well having tutored A-Level students outside of school, before leaving for Sweden.
