Information about Rebecca
I am a qualified science teacher and examiner, currently working in an Oxfordshire school. I achieved A* in all three sciences and maths at GCSE, and A* in A Level Biology. I achieved a 1st class degree in Biomedical Science at Oxford Brookes University and subsequently completed my Secondary Science PGCE at Oxford University. I have over ten years of teaching students of all abilities in the classroom and have additionally privately tutored many students.

Experience: I am a qualified secondary science teacher for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I trained at Oxford University and have been teaching in schools for ten years. My main subject is Biology, where I am qualified to teach A level and would be happy to tutor degree level also. I am also a qualified examiner for Biology. I have experience teaching different exam boards including OCR, iGCSE and AQA. I cater for all abilities of pupil; from those aiming for Oxbridge/ medicine/ veterinary, as well as those pupils who may be finding A Level Biology a challenge and would like to boost their grade.

Rebecca Binnington is currently tutoring our daughter for A level Biology. In just a few weeks, we have seen our daughter’s confidence increase and she looks forward to her next lesson. Rebecca has helped me with my knowledge and understanding of biology. Every session is well explained and key points are defined clearly with Rebecca`s well clarification. Rebecca has helped me with answer exam questions with more confidence and a lot easier compared to before the sessions.

Rebecca is amazing, she explains concepts that I do not understand very well using PowerPoints and her own explanations. I always look forward to her lessons because she makes A-level Biology more enjoyable. I could not recommend her enough!
