I’m a small animal veterinary surgeon with a love for education. Since having my first child (Otis, who is now 4) I have concentrated on my passion for teaching biology as well as animal studies. I enjoy building a rapport with my students and working together to achieve, and surpass, our goals. I believe successful learning is about finding out how each student best takes in information and then repetition. Finding something about the subject that sparks an interest helps along the way! Achieving success can be hard work and involve commitment but it can also be fun and rewarding.

Availability: Evenings, weekends and some weekday daytimes

Experience: I have my fair share of experience in studying myself and taking exams - having completed a BSc Zoology degree, a MA in Combined Science and becoming MRCVS (a vet!). I also have experience in developing a CV and course (or job)applications. I have been tutoring individual sciences and further animal related studies in my spare time whilst continuing to work as a vet - but my hope and aim is to offer private, and small group, tuition full time.
