!Hola!
I am from Granada (España); I am a qualified teacher in both Spain and the UK, with teaching experience in both countries. I also hold a Master´s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I have a lot of teaching experience with both children and adults at any level of the language.
I offer Spanish lessons (any level) from the very basics to very advanced, in order to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language and culture. We can also plan conversational lessons if you are planning to travel to a Spanish speaking country. Therefore, the classes are based on your goals, needs and interests.
My teaching goals are:
- Get to know your interests and adapt different methods for each lesson.
- Make learning Spanish a fun and useful experience.
- Develop your writing, speaking, reading and listening skills.

I only met Javier for the first time this evening despite him teaching my son for a few weeks. I have of course had email conversations which were always very polite with prompt replies and therefore I would definitely classify as a good communicator.
I therefore asked my son how he would describe him (aged 15, studying for GCSEs). His descri ption was ` "kind, friendly, funny, easy to talk too and teaches well". My son was just about a predicted `C` but today got his second controlled assessment back and it is either a `high B or A`.
So, delighted beyond words and cannot recommend highly enough. I now have a boy looking forward to taking Spanish which I thought I would never be saying.....

Javier has provided me with excellent tutoring: he is empathetic to my level of learning, very pro-active and hugely encouraging. Before each lesson starts, he checks that I have retained previous learning and adjusts the lesson accordingly. I am surprised how much I have learnt in a short space of time. Thank you Javier.
