I moved to Worcestershire in 1978 and did a BEd (Hons) at Worcester College of Higher Education, part time, finishing that course in 1984. I retrained in Mathematics in 1986 and gained a Master of Education, again part time, in 1992 from the University of Birmingham. My main recreation is playing golf, reading and swimming.
