I am a *fully qualified teacher* and work as a Head of Department at an Ofsted Outstanding Secondary School.
I am also an *examiner* for AQA A-level Economics.



__- TUITION SESSIONS: __-
• I provide each student with excellent revision notes that are well summarised and cover all bases for the exam board. These are handmade by myself. Students will save lots of time in lessons as they won’t need to make notes and can just focus on the content.
• I also provide step-by-step guides on how to answer essay questions - this can be applied to any exam question! This includes me secret recipe for a tasty evaluation!
• I give students example essay templates, of past exam paper questions, so students can see what an A* answer looks like!

I tailor each and every session to the needs of my students. Everyone learns in their own unique and special way and I can adapt as a teacher to all learning styles. I can focus on theory or perfecting exam technique and have learnt lots of tricks and tips on how to achieve the best possible marks in A-Level Economics, with the least amount of writing possible. These are tricks that students can easily apply to any question they come across in their exam!

I do offer marking services upon request. Papers can be marked and detailed feedback on each section will be provided to students, highlighting areas of weakness in both subject knowledge and also areas in the mark scheme that were missed/weak.

I guarantee students will become more confident and will enjoy economics! I make it my aim to make the lessons ‘stick’ in a fun and interactive way. Economics can be thoroughly exciting if taught in the right way!


__- EXPERIENCE: __-
I have been offering private tuition for 6 years and I have successfully helped students improve their grades, enjoy learning and gain confidence in school with a better in depth understanding of exam content. I specialise in Economics having studied this at A-Level as well as for my degree at university. I graduated from Nottingham University 4 years ago achieving a 2.1 in Economics & Finance, and I have been teaching ever since. My knowledge of both subjects is extensive and very current.

I am enthusiastic and genuinely adore economics. Teaching is my passion and I do put a lot of time and effort into understanding where each of my students can improve and how best to help them. I have successfully helped many A-Level students progress from grades below a D to achieve A`s and A*`s. Every single student I have taught to date has achieved at least an A in their final examinations. I have always received 100% positive feedback from all my students and I am happy to provide references.

In terms of university students, I specialise in Micro, Macro, Econometrics, Risk Analysis, Finance, Accounting modules. These are all areas I can assist students with.
