My name is Arran, and I love problem solving! Whether it`s maximising mathematics grades in exams, excelling in mathematical competitions like the UKMT challenges, or pushing further past the scope of the course, I want to share this love of problem solving to students across the UK.

My teaching approach is direct instruction, where I will give clear instructions on how tasks should be done, and monitor performance tightly. I have created mathematics notes for every exam. In lessons we will go through these notes and go through every past paper available. 100% is always the goal.

Experience: I have been doing online and face-to-face tuition for mathematics and STEM for nearly a decade. As part of my university degree in mathematics, I taught maths lessons in secondary schools and developed key skills in maximising students` performance in exams. I have mentored primary school students in their maths lessons as part of charity initiatives.
