I`m a retired secondary school Mathematics teacher who is able to enthuse and encourage any student to produce their best. I cover these stages of the curriculum, KS3, KS4 and KS5, plus I`ve also excellent experience supporting mature students intent on gaining the maths qualifications necessary to advance their careers. I`m based in the Bath area and offer both face to face and on-line tuition.

Depending on a student`s requirements, I will tailor sessions so that they can quickly become confident and achieve their goal whether it be to pass a public examination or to simply support their general school learning by ensuring the student masters specific topics in order to progress.

This is my 22nd year of offering private maths tuition. My approach centres around building confidence and passing onto students a broad base of mathematical skills and knowledge which ensure resilience and self-reliance. I`m fully conversant with the subject areas included in commonly followed GCSE and IGCSE specifications and in addition the variants between different awarding bodies such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC which are the most common.

Availability: I will generally offer early evening sessions or after school sessions on a Wednesday since I do have daytime commitments. However if you prefer to have tuition on a Saturday or Sunday I will be happy to offer this.
