I am a final-year PhD student at the University of Birmingham, studying Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology. My work, funded by the national Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), focusses on Roman history, and have published, peer-reviewed and edited academic works on this topic. As I near the end of my studies, I am looking to take on new students who are interested in improving their knowledge of the ancient world and skills in essay writing, source analysis, comprehension, and critical thinking. I have tutored at A-Level and Degree level, produced videos on Roman history for classics outreach programmes, taught at undergraduate level in multiple universities, and delivered lectures and seminars on Roman history at universities around the world. My approach to tuition focuses on building tutee`s skillsets rather an on simply content learning.
As a PhD student, I have flexible working hours, which mean I have plenty of time to stay active, running, cycling, or going to the gym. This also means that I have flexible hours available for tuition.
