Information about Mark
I am a full time science teacher of biology and chemistry at one of the highest achieving independent schools in the country. I was formerly a head of department in a state school and have more than 20 years teaching experience. I have been regularly rated as an outstanding teacher during my career by OFSTED. In addition since 2006 I have been an expert examiner and moderator in A-Level Biology making me exceptionally well placed to support students in exam preparation.
Availability: Weeknights, Weekends and School Holidays
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: 20+ years of teaching KS3 and GCSE science and all three separate sciences to GCSE and iGCSE and I currently teach AQA A-Level Biology. A personal science tutor since 2005, an A-level biology examiner since 2006 and more recently a Biology GCSE examiner for AQA.

Mark is an excellent tutor and is really helping my daughter understand areas that she was struggling with. He is constantly asking her questions and testing her knowledge to see how much she understands and irons out any ambiguous areas.
