I ive in the Wirral with a young family. My passion is religious studies and I`ve been teaching it for my whole career. I`m Head of Religious Studies at the top achieving school in the Wirral, and run the department with the best GCSE results and some of the best A-level results. I live in the Wirral and studied Philosophy at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2009. I have worked at Wirral Grammar School for Girls since 2016, having previously worked at BHSA.

Availability: During school closure I am available for ONLINE sessions most days, at various times.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have been teaching since 2011, taking GCSE and A-Level classes through to positive results. In the most recent batch of results the lowest GCSE grade any of my pupils achieved was a Grade 5, and the A-Level cohort all achieved C and above, including 5 A* grades. The department had the best GCSE results in the year, and the third best A-level results.

I teach GCSE AQA RS, covering Christianity and Buddhism. I teach Themes B,C, D and E, but am able to teach Theme A and F as well. I can also tutor all other exam boards.

At A-Level I teach Eduqas, covering the whole of the Philosophy component and the majority of the Ethics component. I can examine other specifications and teach what content overlaps, which will be much of it. This includes philosophy of religion.
