I am a specialist English teacher based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, focusing on academic coaching, exam revision, home educating and alternative educational packages with a child-focused approach.
I am a secondary trained English teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring and teaching both English Language and Literature up to GCSE.

Availability: Tuesdays, Thursdays and during school holidays.

Experience: I currently teach in an upper primary setting and
have hundreds of hours of experience in the classroom teaching the new English SATs curriculum. I am incredibly familiar with the heightened expectations and best practice strategies used to help children reach the expected standard. Reading, comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation are all covered within the sessions. I can also help create a personalised plan for your child in order to build confidence, increase understanding and ultimately unlock their academic potential.
