Hi I’m Alice,
I have just competed my third year (out of 4) studying for a Bsc Hons in Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, and have so far achieved a first.
I am a patient, enthusiastic and encouraging individual who enjoys teaching and sharing my love for and knowledge of science.
At GCSE Level I achieved 11A* grades in (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths, English Literature, English language, Spanish, French, Italian, Grography and Art).
At A level I got 3A* grades in (Chemistry, Biology, Fine Art) and A grade in Maths with statistics.
Having recently helped multiple students through their A level and GCSE courses this year, I am up to date and confident with the material and have many resources of my own to use with students to help cover and understand topics.

Available to do online lessons only.

Availability: Being a university student I have lectures in the day time but am very flexible with times on evening and weekends, don’t hesitate to ask! During summer holidays I have full availability.

Experience: At my first year of University , I tutored two students. One student for AS level Chemistry, and the second for both GCSE Chemistry and Biology (this student achieved a 5 and 6 score respectively where her previous grade was estimated to be a fail). I am very happy to provide a reference for thesis two students where necessary-feel free to ask!
In my second and third year I tutored students in both Chemistry (A grade achieved) and Art (focusing on essay writing).
During my time at college I was a personal mentee for a first year student. In our weekly sessions we would discuss topics covered in lessons (chemistry and biology) and I would prepare questions and answers from last papers to work on to improve skills such as exam technique, with the final aim being to feel confident in exams.
