I am an experienced Primary Curriculum tutor with a special interest in supporting children who are not achieving their full potential in the classroom. My MA waas in working with Gifted children and children on the autistic spectrum.
Lessons are designed to inspire self confidence and a love of learning. This inevitably leads to accelerating progress.
In addition to helping children I provide ideas for strategies that may be used at home. If parents want I am happy to give them lessons to ensure that they are confident in Maths or English in order to work with their child at home.

Availability: Tuesday, Wdnesday and Thursday 16-19

Experience: Many years as a teacher in Primary School have given me experience in all areas of the Primary curriculum especially Maths and English. I was the lead teacher for Maths and Assessment for the school. For many years I was the lead teacher for Gifted and Talented Education and developed several initiatives to suuport children with above average ability. Once I had completed my MA I was invited to share some of my strategies with other schools in the borough.
