I am a fully qualified Science teacher currently working at [contact detail removed] a successful secondary school in Doncaster teaching GCSE Biology and AS Level Biology. I am 32 years old and hold a 1st class BSc degree from the University of Hull.
I am now in my tenth year of teaching, I qualified as an outstanding teacher through the Graduate Teacher Programme which provided me with hands on experience of teaching in a Secondary School. I like one to one tuition as the progress made is exemplified and much more rapid.
My approach to tutoring involves exam practice and very targeted revision with an emphasis on building Biology content, confidence and application of knowledge skills through the structured use of past exam questions. Course content will also be re-taught if required.
I also ask open ended questions to probe knowledge and current understanding and often ask questions in a manner which makes it easy to eliminate misconceptions.

Experience: Last year i tutored 3 AS sixth form students, they all achieved grade A-C in AS Level Biology & 3 GCSE Biology students who achieved grades A*-B, all exceeding their target grades.
