I am a professional full-time Economics, Accounting and Maths tutor and a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. I use a thorough, pragmatic approach to helping students understand their subject and, crucially, achieve the best results possible. I also hold a degree in Economics and Business Management.

__**IMPORTANT UPDATE**__ - I am a specialist in Skype & Online tutoring (although I do face to face also). If you are interested in this then I can offer tailored, interactive lessons via Skype. I can also make RECORDINGS available (audio and video) of the lessons so that you can view them again & again to help your understanding. As a Chartered Accountant, having worked for one of the Big 4 accountancy firms, I am able to assess the level of a student very quickly and deliver tailored sessions that will improve their knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of their subject in no time. Moreover, I appreciate that not everyone is a natural at the subjects I offer and I adjust my approach accordingly by ensuring the fundamental concepts are well understood and by grounding the subject in real world examples.

The majority of my tutoring is in assisting students with Maths at GCSE & A-Level, and in Economics, Accounting & Finance at A-Level, University and Professional levels. I pride myself on helping students go beyond expectations whilst encouraging them to feel less stressed and more confident about their exams.

Experience: Having tutored for several years, I am familiar with all major exam boards and for University level, the general structure/format of exams typically set. I employ a pragmatic style that can deliver results in a short space of time and I generally look to improve grades by at least 2 grade boundaries, with the majority of my students receiving the top grade possible.

Furthermore, while many tutors may very well offer tuition regarding the material - I also pride myself on being able to help students with the other, less tangible skills required such as Exam technique and, crucially, Confidence. I feel this adds a huge amount of value and can impact grades significantly given the "it`s how you perform on the day" factor. For those students who are at all panicked, nervous or worried by looming exams, I will ensure that this is no longer an issue by exam day.
