I`m Sam and I am currently in my second year studying Chemical Physics at Bristol University. I am friendly and down to earth with experience teaching several students of different ages. At A-level I obtained 4A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics and I am available to teach students up to A-level standard in any of these subjects. I am also the captain of Bristol`s University Challenge team for the series which is currently on TV.

I prefer to get to know a student before we begin any lessons so that I can understand their style of learning and where any specific difficulties lie. Everyone learns differently and this allows me to tailor my teaching to each individual. My aim is always to teach students to understand the underlying principles in science and maths rather than to memorise a list of formulae. Availability: I am available to teach weekdays in the evenings (after 5PM) and in the mornings on weekends (before 1PM).

Experience: I have 2 years’ experience giving private tuition and have taught 4 students ranging from 13-18. I have taught one student Key Stage 3 Maths, one GCSE Maths and two students A-level Maths and Physics.
