I am an experienced Secondary English Teacher and ex-Head of English. I have worked in schools in Kent and Bromley for the last 8 years (including an accredited Dyslexia Friendly school) and love working with young people, helping them to uncover the beauty of English Language and Literature.

My expertise in teaching and assessing KS3, GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature to all abilities would be invaluable to any student who needs extra help with analysing texts, structuring their own writing or any area of their English curriculum.

My approach is supportive, friendly and encouraging. I want you to love English as well as improve your grades.

I am currently on a career-break from teaching in order to raise my two small children but I really miss being in the classroom so I`m embarking on a tutoring career to fill the gap for the next few years. Having small children means that I can only tutor at home during the week but it is possible for me to travel to you on a Saturday morning.
