Luckshaa

Hi, my name is Luckshaa and I am an experienced tutor, having tutored Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry to students studying for their GCSEs and A levels and achieving 4A* in these subjects at A- Level myself.

I am currently studying medicine at UCL, so I have been through the application process including the UCAT, BMAT, MMI and panel interviews, through which I received offers for Imperial, Queen Mary and UCL. I have experience volunteering as an examiner in mock MMIs for prospective medical students, providing them with feedback as well as giving them more ideas to consider in their answers. My UCAT score was 3070, Band 1 which was in the top 10% for the 2020 test statistics and my BMAT score was 6.5, 5.7, 3.5A.

In my teaching I find that student centred learning is key in my lessons as I think it`s important to allow the student to express areas which require extra focus and learning from their missteps. I ensure that my sessions are catered to each child`s needs and interest to enable them to make great progress as well as concentrating on exam technique so students can perform to the best of their abilities in examinations.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately on a 1:1 basis for the past 3 years and in all year groups from year 7 to 13 (GCSE and A level). I also have experience in preparing children for 11+ examinations, particularly the CEM and GL assessment boards, as well as medicine application tutoring. This includes UCAT and BMAT training as well as interview practice (both MMI and panel).
