Hello!

I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford (BA Modern Languages) and would love to help you with any university applications, GCSE or A level support. Below, you can see the subjects that I studied, and I would be delighted to help you with.

I have experience teaching primary school children and young adults in subjects including but not limited to English, Maths, Spanish, Science, etc. As I studied Spanish at university, much of my teaching has been based around teaching English as a foreign language. The skills that I learned in my TEFL qualification to do so, means that I have a solid foundation in how to teach both groups and individuals.

I have tutored in Spain, the UK, Argentina and Peru and very much enjoy working with children, particularly in humanities subjects.

I can also offer interview help with the Oxbridge process for courses relating to my degree.

Experience: Tuition for under 10’s
I have a broad range of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, and also Spanish to children, both in a professional primary school setting, as well as volunteering abroad, online and privately. I like to foster an enthusiasm for learning languages with my students, using play and games to engage their attention and make the process of learning fun and enjoyable.

GCSE tuition
I have taught three different students aged 14-16 to prepare them for their GCSE examinations. Providing support for a range of subjects, including Science, English Literature, Spanish, French, Geography, History and Religious Studies. I love the variety of this age group, as there are a range of subjects to dig into and explore with young adults who are developing their own interests and understanding which subjects are the best fit.

A Level and University tuition
As well as offering private A level tuition, I was nominated by my tutor during my time at the University of Oxford to be a Student Mentor and provide academic support to other students. This is where I discovered that I loved to share my skills, enthusiasm and passion with others. I offer A Level support for most Humanities subjects, as well as Spanish and French.

Adult language tuition
Over the past two years, I have taught two Japanese adult students, helping them to adjust to the new language and culture of the UK, supported by my formal TEFL qualification to teach English to the highest standards. I enjoy learning more about different cultures, and using the skills obtained during my own foreign language studies and applying elements of linguistics to aid communication and pronunciation for my students.
