I am passionate about ensuring that all children have the skills and confidence to successfully manage the transition from primary school to secondary school. Children learn in different ways, and a tutor`s responsibility is to find the methods that work for each child. With many years of experience, I am equipped to help children move forward; I can adapt my teaching to suit a child`s best learning style.

Availability: Monday- Thursday

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have taught for over 30 years- mostly in KS2. In KS2 SATs (2016-19) the children in my class achieved some of the best results in the county. I have run voluntary booster groups to ensure all the children have the necessary skills to access the curriculum. I like to make the learning relevant to the child; this requires open and honest dialogue with the child`s needs at the heart of all teaching.
