I currently teach:

KS3 ICT & Computer Science
Previously taught:
KS5 ICT(A level)
A range of different GCSE courses (ECDL,CIDA,DIDA, OCR Nationals)
KS3 Math (2 years)
I have tutored for the last 3 years, for the year 2021-2022 I have delivered the entire Computer Science GCSE to an Autistic Student as this course was not available at his school (reference upon request). Before this I tutored 2 other students to supplement their in school learning.
My degree is a specialist computer science degree from Coventry University (Computing Technologies BSC) which is rare for teachers as at present a large number only have IT related degrees, I also completed my PGCE at Warwick university which is currently ranked "64th in the world making Warwick one of Europes top 20 universities."

Reference for Aaron
Aaron worked with our son Harvey from September 2021 until July 2022. We found out that Harvey school had dropped his computing GCSE and that he had missed a term of lessons. We found Aaron and agreed to weekly two hour lessons face to face or online.
Harvey is a typical teenage boy (also Autistic) with very short attention span and a child who does not like to learn or be told what to do. Aaron worked very effectively with Harvey to keep him focused on the subject and work through the material he needed to learn in a very efficient way as he only had 10 months to learn the content for a 2 year course. He has a natural supportive style which worked well with Harvey and he was able to complete several practise papers both in person and over the virtual environment. Harvey enjoyed working with Aaron and always stayed focused on his lesson for the majority of the two hour session. This was really an achievement for Harvey and Aaron. we were delighted to find out Harvey obtained a grade six for his computing in a year when the computing exam was hard, it was his highest GCSE result.
I have no hesitation in recommending Aaron his knowledge and teaching style was able to give our son a great qualification which he would not otherwise have achieved.

My son enjoys his lessons and the delivery of the lessons is done in way that meets him where he is at the moment. Good communication, he has been flexible and accommodating when we needed to readjust lesson dates. Overall, we had a great experience and my son feels well supported. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a tutor in computing.

My son has been tutored by Aaron since last summer for Computer Science at GCSE level. We have found him to be reliable, and able to teach in a manner which is both successful and enjoyable. His grades have already improved, and we are therefore continuing through to his exam time. Both myself and my son would highly recommend him to others.
