I currently work as a primary school Latin teacher and private tutor in London. I am originally from Durham and, despite having lived in the capital for 13 years, I have managed to maintain the accent!

Availability: I work for a charity as a peripatetic primary school Latin teacher on Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings, and all day Friday during term time. I offer in-person tutoring to a client on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and tutor another client online on Monday after school, Wednesday morning and Thursday morning.

As my current tutoring clients are in exam years, I will have much greater availability from May 2024 onwards, once they have completed their GCSE and A Level exams.

Experience: I have over 5 years` experience of Classics teaching in secondary schools, and I have been teaching Latin to KS2 students since September 2023.

I provided maternity cover at Streatham & Clapham High School as a Teacher of Classics from September-December 2021. During this time, I taught Latin Language from Years 7-13, Classical Civilisation in Years 12-13, and Year 10 Greek.

Previously I worked as a Teacher of Classics at Latymer Upper School from September 2015-July 2019, teaching Latin to Years 7-13. During this time I also achieved QTS and completed my NQT year.

Prior to this I worked at Warwick School from September 2014, teaching Latin to Years 7-11 and teaching beginners’ Greek in Year 9.

I studied Classics at King’s College London, graduating in 2013 with a 2:1, and completed an MA at University College London in Medieval and Renaissance Studies, graduating in 2020 with a Distinction.
