My interest in teaching began at the very early stage of my life. As a child, I used to pretend that I provided lessons to other children in my neighborhood and I also tried to help my beloved teacher do her lesson. I also loved to conduct excavations. My desire to teach and discover new things was fulfilled when I enrolled in the institution of my first choice, in the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Athens. This degree gave me the opportunity to teach, as I am fully qualified to do so.
However, I have always had enlarged horizons and multiple interests, which could not be covered by a single field. As a result, I chose my Masters degree in Architecture and Heritage Management, because I believe that we must get more involved to Art and Heritage if we want to be effective teachers.
Along with the courses of the University of Athens, I attended a four-year state program in the Greek Sign Language (GSL), in the exam of which I excelled. Moreover, I got involved in the community of deaf people through volunteer work and helping deaf students complete essays at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA). This process taught me to accept diversity and adapt to environmental changes without losing my creativity.
My passion is to teach the new generations how to be a proper human being.
