Information about Philippa

I am a Geography teacher with 20 years experience of teaching all secondary age groups including GCSE and A level. Particularly experienced in teaching exam groups with a high success rate of students achieving challenge targets. In addition, I am doing a Tefl course (120 hours) which I expect to complete at the end of October 2018. My husband and I have recently moved to Scotland for career purposes and so I left my last school in June.

Availability: I am available from the end of September for Geography tutoring and the end of October for Tefl work. Weekdays are preferred.

Willing to travel: 2 miles

Experience: 20 years as a secondary school teacher of Geography. I have taught the OCR B GCSE syllabus and most recently the new AQA syllabus. At A level, I have taught the WJEC syllabus and most recently the new AQA syllabus. I have coached and supported students in completing the individual project at A level and organised appropriate fieldwork and dats collection.
