Key responsibilities:
• Mark GCSE and A Level exams in Latin, Classical Civilisation and Classical Greek in accordance with established guidelines and marking schemes (OCR).
• Participate in standardization meetings to align marking practices with other assessors.
• Stay up-to-date with any changes in examination regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the OCR exam board to ensure the smooth running of the assessment process.

Key responsibilities:
• Teach Latin and Classical Civilisation to students in Years 6, 7 and 8, preparing them for the Common Entrance exams (CE).
• Create schemes of work in line with national curriculum guidelines and the school’s departmental handbook.
• Create the marking assessment criteria for the department to ensure that all assessments are marked fairly.
• Lead the Enrichment courses in Latin for pupils who have selected the Common Academic Scholarship (CASE).
