I am currently a 2nd Year Student studying Medicine at University College London (UCL). Having achieved A* in Maths, A* in Biology and A in Chemistry at A-Levels, I believe I have the necessary depth to teach these topics.
Previously an A-Level Student at Dr Challoner`s Grammar School (Year 12) in Amersham. I studied Maths, Spanish, Biology and Chemistry at AS Level and also self-taught Arabic AS Level. At GCSE level I achieved averages of 97% (Maths), 100% (Biology) and 96% (Chemistry) in exams for these subjects and so I can teach students of all ability. I also achieved 8 A*s at GCSE, including the subjects above. Having relatively recently completed my GCSE`s I have a good understanding of the current courses and a relevant approach to teaching them. I believe that using my methods it is possible for any student to achieve a B, A grade or A* at GCSE provided they are committed and hardworking.
I am a relaxed and friendly, yet determined individual and I believe that these qualities are evident in my teaching. I will help push any students to achieve the target grades and hopefully further to achieve the desired grade.
I can also provide personal tutoring help to those who wish to apply for medicine as I have recently experienced the entire process. This includes personal statement help.
Tutoring would take place in a neutral setting (e.g. library)
