Information about Yaddhurshan

Hi there! My name is Yaddhurshan and I am currently an undergraduate student studying at the University of Warwick. My degree is a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and I hope to become a Chartered Engineer once completing my course. You may be thinking, why should you choose me as your tutor? Hopefully, this tutor profile will allow you to figure that out!

If I had to consider my own strengths and weaknesses, I would definitely classify Maths and Physics as two of my strong points. Having wanted to be an Engineer since a young age, I always took more of an interest in Maths and Physics and was always motivated by the teachers and management at Chesham Grammar School. This is shown by my AS and A2 level grades, where I was able to achieve an A in both subjects in the former, and an A* in Maths and an A in Physics for my A Levels. Adding to my strong points, I used a well-formatted revision technique which worked wonders and choosing me as your tutor will hopefully encourage yourself to adopt this same revision technique. I am currently on-set for achieving a First level degree at my University, and I always hope to inspire the same level of determination that I have with all of my students. Having freshly gone through the modern University process unlike some other tutors, I am able to offer good advice about applying to University and Apprenticeships, and hopefully, by choosing me as your tutor you will be able to learn from the experiences I`ve had in the process. Teaching and helping others is also a definite strong point I see within my personality. I am hoping to do a two-year internship with the well-known graduate scheme TeachFirst, which will see me teaching in schools in London and working to inspire and motivate students from all different backgrounds.

As well as my strong academic background, the extra-curricular background that I have in music and culture is equally as proficient. Music and its accompanying culture have always been a constant in my life. In Western music, I have managed to achieve completing my Grade 5 in Piano with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM). In Eastern music, I am an upcoming performer, teacher and official examiner in Carnatic Vocal with the Oriental Fine Arts Academy of London (OFAAL) as well as the Academy of Fine Arts (AOFA). In addition to Carnatic Vocal, I also learned Carnatic Violin and Mirudangam. All of the musical proficiencies I have achieved have constantly inspired and taught me new lessons. Talking about a more eccentric extra-curricular activity, I am currently preparing to do the Mongol Rally in 2019. This is a 10,000-mile charity road-trip from London to Mongolia for the registered charity Cool Earth (1117978), which involves an in-depth knowledge of Mechanics and Geography. I work hard using these experiences to give my all to the tasks I do.

I would recommend Yaddhurshan as an outstanding Physics tutor. My daughter has had few lessons with him and has already made a massive improvement in her understanding of the subject, in fact moving from foundation GCSE to Higher GCSE!
