Information about Therese
Reading new novels, mainly historical fiction. All types of music from Chopin, 20`s Jazz to indie. Films - old and new, exploring stately homes, vintage shops, countryside walks.
Availability: Evenings and Saturdays

Experience: Several years in teaching English at Key Stage 3,4 and 5 (year 7-13). Have worked in a range of highly academic secondary schools in the area. Previous roles include Head of Literacy and Head of English. Am very confident and experienced in ensuring students develop their understanding of English at their specific level. Real teaching experience means I know how to assess student needs and tailor lessons to these specific areas. Am able to explain and use questioning to ensure student`s are not confused or unclear. I aim to ensure student`s end each session with a sense of achievement, confidence and security.
