Hi, I am a very well experienced tutor with a lot of good experience with both mainstream and Special Educational Needs children. I am experienced in all areas of the curriculum and have been providing a child centred and differentiated tuition to children where needed. Primary school aged children are my expertise but I can also teach functional skills (maths and English) as well as year 7 and 8 subjects. I have over 3 years experience of tutoring and counting.

Currently, I am running a special needs provision in London where I am also the designated safeguarding lead.

I have a very wide range of experience of working with SEN children both academically and as a social/ emotional thinking mentor.

I can do home visits or online tuition based on the family`s preference. References can be made available on request.

Experience: I am a computer software engineer who has taken a change of career to work in education. I have been working as a tutor for a number of years with both mainstream and SEN children. I started working as a teaching assistant in schools to begin with and then progressed on to becoming a full time tutor as time went on. Currently, I run an autism specific provision as my day job and small independent tutoring business in the afternoons.

I am also a trainee counsellor and working on my last few months of diploma in person centred counselling. I have a high level of training which includes being the designated safeguarding lead.

I believe that my particular academic and mental health skill set is a great combination for the success of my pupils where I can always be alert and receptive to their individual needs and interests as I teach them.
