My twenty years of teaching experience is largely based on GCSE, BTEC and A Level Business and Economics. I have also tutored in these subjects for the same time period but have also tutored younger children in English, Maths and for preparation for 11+ exams.
For over 15 years I have also marked A Level exam papers in Business and Economics so I have worked at all levels of the learning and assessment process.
My approach to tuition and teaching is based on structure, creativity and getting to know the child. For example, I am currently helping an eleven year old Chelsea supporter prepare for the 11+ Exam and he is an excellent mathematician. We therefore focus on other areas, using football-based examples to develop his understanding.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with your child and help them to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

Experience: *Private tutoring experience across subjects and age groups.

*Fifreen years of teaching experience in UK schools and abroad (China) on a range of Business, Economics and other courses, ages 3-18.

*A Level exam marker (four years for Economics and nine years for Business).

*Experience of managing and mentoring staff as well as gifted and less able students.

*A track record of improving teaching and learning including roles as Supported Experiments facilitator, Examiner and Senior Tutor.

*Long history of supporting extracurricular activities including sports, debating and business clubs amongst others.
