Information about Alex
Qualified doctor looking to provide in person tutoring at my address or library/similar location for adult students in maths/science
Availability: Highly flexible. Currently not in training so lots of free time. Enquire within.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Have supported KS4/5 lessons and mentored students in the past to great success. A particular example I am proud of would be a year 11 student who I worked with elevating her GCSE chemistry grade from a C to an A. I have a good record with tutees in Leicester and their exam results were excellent, demonstrating improvement and excellence. I have also spent time working with younger children in a middle school supporting them in essential literacy and arithmetic, receiving great praise from the staff I supported.
Through my time in medical school and as a doctor I have supported in revision lectures and acted as a mentor.

Alex wasn`t able to tutor at my home as he doesn`t drive. But we did find a suitable place for him to tutor my son who is 14 and he is getting on really well. Alex is enthusiastic about the science subjects he teaches and as its only been a few years since taking his A levels, he`s aware of the standard that`s required. Overall I am very pleased with this tutor.
