Hi, I`m Anabel and I am currently a 4th year medical student, with a BSc in Women`s Health (1st class honours).
Every lesson of mine is 100% tailored to how YOU learn best. Being a student myself I have experienced good and bad teaching, so can empathise with my students and their struggles.

I understand the content and concepts of exam syllabi very thoroughly. My lessons aim to not only provide a deep conceptual understanding of topics, but to also provide the key exam techniques needed to achieve top marks.
I tutor the 3 GCSE sciences + A-level Biology.

Availability: I currently provide lessons online. I am flexible with timings and can adjust to fit a student`s schedule.

Experience: I have tutored many students through my years at UCL medical school. I currently tutor KS2 maths + GCSE sciences + A level Biology and have received great feedback, from both students and parents. All students have achieved Grades 8-9 (GCSE) and A-A* (A-level). I have honed my skills in how best to explain concepts in a logical and understandable way. I believe it is important to form a partnership; I am always available for my students to message me for extra help or even general advice and through this relationship all my students have gone on to achieve top grades.

I like to start lessons by recapping and reviewing my student`s current knowledge. From this starting point, we can further delve into the topic and work through the concept (as per the exam specification). To consolidate our learning we will do practice questions at the end and I provide weekly homework to go over in the next lesson.

Every lesson is tailored to my students individually, from teaching style to question style to the way I finally test your learning. Whilst revising for my own exams, I tried many learning techniques and am now able to distinguish the most effective method for each of my students to use in their own revision.

The summer holidays are a great time to catch-up on any subjects/topics that you feel unsure about before you move on to more complicated topics the following year. Or the holidays can be used to start learning more advanced topics a bit earlier to reduce later stress e.g. before your final exam years.
