I`ve been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years and am currently a head of department for science.
My specialty is in accelerating students grades, building on their current knowledge and dealing with their weak areas especially in the areas of maths and science.
I actively aim to engage students using a range of learning strategies and select resources appropriate for the individual.
Availability: Available any week day evening and weekends pending current bookings

Experience: I have a 10 year track record of developing students significantly ahead of targets at an accelerated rate and have had many successful years tutoring and developing students outside of school to a much higher level than if they did not have tutoring.
I specialise in maths and Science having taught KS2, KS3, KS4 and adult learners.

Although more than capable academically, my daughter was struggling - as she had got stuck in a rut with classroom/teacher issues that had a knock on to her learning capacity.
She was underperforming, disruptive and very negative about learning.
Tom has encouraged my daughter to build her confidence, enhanced her knowledge base, as well as introducing her to the learning skills required for her to apply a more strategic approach to her studies.
We are delighted with our daughter`s academic results and, more importantly, the new found drive to learn, settled approach at school, happiness and confidence.
