I am John, I have a degree and MA in Music, I am a professional musician and private Clarinet, Saxophone and Music Theory teacher, with 15 years’ experience, specialising in Jazz and Classical music. I am patient, easy going and welcome pupils of all ages and abilities from beginners to grade eight, including those who play for fun or those who wish to follow the ABRSM grade levels. I also teach Jazz and Classical music theory and can assist with GCSE and A Level Music. I am happy to travel throughout Essex or teach pupils at my home and I am available for lessons during the week, evenings and weekends. If playing as part of a group appeals to you, I run my own Jazz Workshop and Saxophone Workshop on alternative Thursday evenings in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, all ability levels and instruments are welcome, there is no need to book, just come along and join in!
