My experience working as a qualified secondary science teacher (PGCE, QTS) and a degree in Biomedical Science (BSc with First class Hons) finds me well equipped to support students in KS2/GCSE/ A-Level Biology & Chemistry and up to GCSE in Physics (particularly with AQA ). Extensive experience teaching students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other learning considerations.
How I best support my students:
-Individualised and differentiated approach to teaching - taking into account your individual needs and aspirations
-Exam question coaching specific to your area of weakness with constructive feedback and follow up practice
- Coaching students to learn how to plan their revision and how to revise effectively (including methods that promote active recall and spaced repetition)
- Most importantly I focus on findings ways to promote your confidence as a learner - and not just in Science!
I am currently developing my tutoring career whilst studying Medicine at a UK based University. In addition to academic tutoring, I am happy to offer support and guidance with science based, Oxbridge and Medicine and Dentistry university applications- in particular with personal statement and entrance exam requirements (UCAT).
