I am an experienced Scientist with a good track record on delivering high quality practice. I believe my consistent drive for high standards in everything I do, and my sheer determination allows me to empower students to become independent learners and develop personal responsibilities. I am extremely dedicated to providing an exceptional learning experience within the classroom and online for students, ensuring students are fully inspired to achieve their very best potential.
I teach all three sciences; Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 and KS4/GCSE. I specialise in Biology at KS5/A Level.
I can also teach Physical Education at GCSE/KS4 and A Level/KS5 due to holding an MSc in Sports Performance Analysis and First Class BSc honours in Sport and Exercise Science. Furthermore, prior to my PGCE I was a Lecturer of Sport at Wiltshire based college, teaching Sport at BTEC and A Level.
Availability: Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at various times.
I am flexible so am sure I can find a time to suit you.

Sophie is a really amazing teacher who goes through every point of the specification and as she is an examiner she is able to give tips on how to answer questions. Overall I had a really great year being her student.

Had Sophie as my AQA A-level biology tutor for nearly 2 months and it`s incredible how much I have learnt from her in this little time. I wouldn`t of been nearly as confident as I was without her help. She tailors her teaching to suit your needs and is very knowledgeable of the whole course and what examiners want. Couldn`t of imagined being tutored by anyone better!
