As a dedicated Maths tutor with over two years of experience, I specialise in supporting students aged 11 to 18, spanning KS2 through KS5. I have extensive experience teaching both in-person and online, including working with students who have ADHD, which has honed my abilities in patience, adaptability, and empathy.

In each lesson, I build a structured yet flexible environment that encourages student engagement and understanding. I start with a quick recap of previous topics to ensure continuity and reinforce learning, followed by interactive teaching tailored to the individual student’s pace. I regularly check for comprehension through targeted questions and provide clarifications as needed. Most of my sessions last one hour, but I adjust as necessary based on the student`s needs and learning goals.

Academically, I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and an A in A-level Maths, and I’m proficient in the Edexcel, AQA, and OCR exam boards. This foundation, along with my deep subject knowledge, allows me to guide students through complex concepts and exam techniques with confidence.

I bring a strong sense of empathy and understanding, knowing firsthand the academic and emotional challenges that students face. My approach is rooted in resilience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset, helping learners not only to understand Maths but also to gain confidence in their abilities. I see every tutoring session as a chance to share my own experiences, encouraging students to overcome obstacles and avoid common pitfalls.
