Information about Daniel

Hi! My name is Dan and I`m a fourth year medical student at University College London. I am an extremely friendly, reliable and determined individual. I am consistently in the top quintile of my year thanks to my very hard-working nature.

Availability: Please contact me for specific availability. As a general rule, I am free on evenings and weekends. I am able to travel, and also conduct Skype interviews.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am extremely passionate about teaching. Over the past few years, I have tutored GCSE and A Level Biology to several students, consistently achieving outstanding feedback and a very high success rate. The key behind such good feedback and results is my student-focused approach. Many tutors have a set approach to tuition, simply due to the fact that it easier for them. I prefer to adapt both my tuition style and content to you as an individual student, to truly maximise your potential. My experience in medicine gives me a very detailed knowledge of the content within A Level biology, and allows me to be able to sometimes set questions which go beyond the standard curriculum, and really help to you think about and truly understand certain topics.

I also have experience in tutoring pre-clinical medicine, both individually and to a group of 10 students. I have also delivered bedside cadaveric anatomy teaching for two years, for which I have received outstanding feedback. This all comes from my ability to break complex subjects down into simple steps to understand, which of course is a vital skill for tutoring.

In terms of university applications, I have also tutored Year 12 and 13 students for the past three years in their entrance to medical school. This has involved one-to-one personal statement tutoring and conducting mock interviews, as well being simply a 24/7 point-of-contact for advice.

My students are always my number one priority. I have consistently received excellent feedback, but I am constantly seeking to improve and ensure that I can deliver the best tutoring possible.
