Hello!

My name is Sophie and I am a qualified Science Teacher and I have been a professional tutor for the last 4 years.

Day-to-day I am a secondary school science teacher and in my spare time my hobbies include being a huge board-game geek and playing my Nintendo Switch!

In 2017, I graduated from Imperial College London after studying Biochemistry. After graduating, I worked for a fantastic London-based charity which focuses on supporting young blind children achieve their dreams. This was what first inspired me to move into teaching.

I then relocated back home to Ireland and started my own tutoring business. Since then, I have taught KS3, KS4 and KS5 Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) as well as KS3 and KS4 Mathematics.

As a classroom Science teacher it has taught me so much about how individual students need such individual support and that is why I put so much time into individualising my tuition lessons for each one of my pupils.

Availability: Available to tutor in-person at my in-home classroom in Seaforde as well as online Zoom tuition.

Experience: 4 years tutoring experience (averaging 25 students per week when full-time, ranging from KS3 Maths and Science to A-Level Biology and Chemistry.

Qualified Science Teacher.
